THE DOMAIN
The domain “de la Renne” is situated close to the popular tourist route that runs between the Loire’s chateaux near Saint Romain sur Cher, on the doorstep of the Sologne and the Touraine and within a very small distance of the Beauval Zoological park.
We produce wines that have a river at their heart.
The 80 hectares of domain are comprised of a clay-limestone soil “terroir”, ferro-siliceous sand, as well as a sandy lot.
We offer a large variety of wines, ranging from red, rosé and white wines, to sparkling , and dessert wines.

OUR WHITE WINES
VARIATION
Cuvée spéciale sans sulfitesThis vintage is a new 2019 vintage.
It was designed without any added sulphites which gives a bright luminous yellow hue. The nose reveals a wide and expressive taste which is associated with ripe exotic fruits. The mouth is wide and with a generous volume. It has been a major success.
TOURAINE
AOC TOURAINEThis wine from a Sauvignon vintage is dry, fresh and alive. It possesses a charming bouquet that is distinguished by a subtle nose of green fruits.
It is best drunk during its early life, from one to three years.
SAUVIGNON
L'EXPRESSIONThe “Expression” of this pressing is the result of the sauvignon grape variety and and the clay-limestone soils in which it is growen. It is noticeable by pale hue and bouquet of intertwined fruits with a taste that carries notes of blackcurrant and grapefruits. In the mouth it is round and powerful, with a long and balanced finale ; fresh and vivid.
CHARDONNAY
IGP VAL DE LOIREThis traditional is vintage internationally known for its tender, fruity elegance and intense It has a strong personality, and it can be allowed to mature. As an accompliment it is best served with shellfish, white meat and imaginative cuisine.
CHENONCEAUX
AOC TOURAINE-CHENONCEAUXOur Chenonceaux is produced in an INAO designated plot. It is produced from vines with fine leaves which bring elegance alongside a full lingering flavor with notes of ripe and fresh fruit.
VOLUPTÉ
VIN MOELLEUXThis sweet white wine is delicate, perfumed, and created from a noble sauvignon grape variety that is harvestedlate in the season. It makes for a charming n appetizer and as an acompliment to foie gras.

VARIATION GAMAY
Cuvée spéciale sans sulfitesThis vintage is a new 2020 vintage.
It was designed without any added sulphites which gives notes of ripe fruits. In the mouth, it is a subtle and balanced wine with some nice roundness. This Gamay is harvested on our prized calcareous clay “terroir”.
GAMAY
AOC TOURAINEThis red wine is made from a gamay grape which is can be consumed early and young but can also be kept to mature for several years. It is subtle and a balanced wine.
CABERNET
IGP VAL DE LOIREThe cabernet vintage produces an intense wine with aromas ranging from raspberry and blackcurrant, to blackberry. It is a tannic wine, well structured, and derived from the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Franc Cabernet grape varieties. It is a wine for laying down that blossoms after two years..
CÔT
AOC TOURAINEThis ancient grape variety derives from the Touraine appellation which creates a round wine with a dark colour and an aroma of leather and cherry. Well structured and powerful, it has a long lasting taste in the mouth and it can be allowed to age several years.
PINOT NOIR
IGP VAL DE LOIREThis grape variety produces a very delicate wine, scented, and with a generous nose of red fruits. It is very delicate with charm, body and texture.
CUVÉE ÉMINENCE
AOC TOURAINEThis vintage comes originally from the Côt and Cabernet grape varieties ; giving it an aroma of dried red fruits. It is high in tannins and can be kept.

ROSÉ CIEL DE LOIRE
AOC TOURAINEThis is a red wine from a white juice creating a remarkably fruity and light wine. Best served with charcuterie, brochettes and exotic cuisine ; ideally suited to summer lunches.
PINOT D'AUNIS
AOC TOURAINEThe Aunis Pineau is a grape variety that is perfectly suited to the making of a rosé wine imbued with a salmon pink colour. It has a slight peppery and refreshing taste.
LIGHT SPARKLING ROSÉ
DEMI-SECThis vintage is derived from the dark grape of the Franc Cabernet grape variety; manufactured with a traditional method. It delivers freshness, fruitiness and length.
